Crying Freeman's Ikegami Makes 3-Part Female Ninja Manga

Houbunsha's Weekly Manga Times magazine is announcing that "Tenshi wa Maiorita: Kunoichi Ibun" (The Angel Has Landed: The Untold Tale of a Female Ninja), a new short manga series by Ryōichi Ikegami (Crying Freeman, Wounded Man), will launch on April 26. The story centers around Ai, the illegitimate child of the real-life adolescent warrior Amakusa Shirō from Japanese history. The "entertainment period piece" series will run for three weeks in a row and be 116 pages long in total.
