Sonic & Altered Beast's 3D Ports Get Ratings in Australia

The Australian Classification Board rated the enhanced 3DS ports of Sonic the Hedgehog and Altered Beast this week. 3D Sonic the Hedgehog was rated G and 3D Altered Beast was rated M. Nintendo and Sega have not announced a Western release of the games.
3D Sonic the Hedgehog is a enhanced port of the very first Sonic the Hedgehog game in stereoscopic 3D. It was released in Japan earlier this month.
3D Altered Beast takes Sega's 1988 arcade beat-em-up with similar enhancements used for 3D Sonic the Hedgehog. The original game was released in North America on the Sega Genesis in 1989, and more recently released on the XBox Live Arcade in 2009 and PlayStation Network in 2011. The 3D port was released in Japan on Wednesday.
