Boys-Love Manga 'No Touching At All' Gets Live-Action Film

Kou Yoneda's workplace romance published in English by Digital Manga Publishing

Vol. 59 of Taiyoh Tosho's Craft anthology announced on Monday that a live-action film adaptation of Kou Yoneda's Boys Love manga No Touching At All (Dōshitemo Furetakunai) has been green-lit. Run and Gun band member Kousuke Yonehara (Ushijima the Loan Shark) will play Toshiaki Shima, while Masashi Taniguchi (Higurashi no Naku Koro ni) will play Yōsuke Togawa. This will be director Chihiro Amano's first feature film, and Natsuko Takahashi (Antique Bakery, Uragiri wa Boku no Namae o Shitteiru) wrote the screenplay. Taiyoh Tosho will announce more details through its homepage and publications.

Yoneda serialized the manga in Craft from 2007 to 2008. Digital Manga Publishing released the manga in North America, and describes the story:

On his very first day at a brand-new job, shy Shima is trapped in the elevator with a hungover mess of a guy…who turns out to be his boss! Togawa's prickly exterior definitely puts the rookie recruit on-edge, but it doesn't take long before Shima's every waking thought is invaded by his overbearing yet totally thoughtful superior. Will Shima put aside a history of disappointment in order to take a chance on a complicated relationship?
