posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
"Character ending themes" to be compiled in 3 mini albums shipping in May-July

The official website for the television anime of Yun Kouga and Sunao Minakata's Riddle Story of Devil (Akuma no Riddle) manga announced on Friday that the anime will feature a different ending song for each of its 12 episodes featuring cast members from the series.

The "character ending themes songs" will be compiled into three different mini albums that will ship on May 14, June 11, and July 9 respectively. The first two CDs will include five character songs and five instrumental songs, and the final CD will include four character songs and four instrumental songs.

Ayaka Suwa as character Tokaku Azuma performed the first episode's ending theme song "Paradox," and Hisako Kanemoto as Haru Ichinose will perform the second episode's ending theme song "Kinō, Kyō, Ashita" (Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow).

The following other voice actresses will perform the different endings:

Voice actress Maaya Uchida performs the anime's opening theme song "Sōshō Innocence" (Injury Innocence).

The show's story is set at Myōjō Academy, a private girls' boarding school. All the students in the 10th year's Kurogumi class are assassins with one target, Haru Ichinose. Tokaku Azuma is a recent transfer student who is also targeting Ichinose, but she gradually develops feelings for Ichinose.

Keizō Kusakawa (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's and Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha films, il sole penetra le illusioni ~ Day Break Illusion, Ro-Kyu-Bu!, Sekirei) is directing the anime at diomedéa. Kiyoko Yoshimura is in charge of the series scripts, and Naomi Ide is serving as the character designer and chief animation director.

Story creator Yun Kouga and artist Sunao Minakata launched the manga in Newtype in 2012, and Kadokawa published the second compiled book volume last month.

The anime premiered in Japan on April 3.
