Music video about being "attacked and ravished by many girls" debuts on Friday

Japan Animator Expo, the project of weekly anime shorts from Hideaki Anno's Studio Khara and the media company Dwango, announced on Monday that the third short in the project will be a music video titled "ME!ME!ME!" The music video will debut on the website on Friday.

Niconico is currently streaming a preview for the work.

The staff for the short includes:

Planning, Original Work, Director: Hibiki Yoshizaki (Yozakura Quartet storyboarder, Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo designer)
Music: "ME!ME!ME! feat. daoko" by Teddyloid (Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt insert song)
Character Design and Animation Director: Shuichi Iseki (Space Dandy, Little Witch Academia animator)
Animation Production: Studio Khara (Rebuild of Evangelion films)

The music video will star Ranma ½ and Cowboy Bebop co-stars Kouichi Yamadera and Megumi Hayashibara.

Animator Expo's brief overview of the music video reads, "You are attacked and ravished by many girls. Animation music video by Teddyloid x daoko x Studio Khara."

The previous two shorts in the project include Otaro Maijo and Kazuya Tsurumaki's "The Dragon Dentist" and Azuma Tani's "Hill Climb Girl."

Anno himself is serving as executive producer of the initiative with Dwango President Nobuo Kawakami, and he also designed the image character mascot "(Tor)-kun." Ghibli co-founder Hayao Miyazaki created the title logo, and fellow Ghibli co-founder Toshio Suzuki colored it.

One new short will stream every week for a planned total of 30 shorts, ranging from original projects and spinoffs to promotional videos and music videos. Each episode will be streamed for free via a dedicated iOS/Android app and on the web. There are no plans for a commercial release at this stage.

The project is holding a contest for opening animation sequences.
