Anime Limited Updates

Release date changes for Sword Art Online II, Space Dandy S2 and others

Anime Limited has made the following announcements.

- Sword Art Online II Part 1 (pictured) has been delayed to August 31, because of 'concern from our production house about making sure all the components were produced properly in time for our original date. With this in mind the decision was made to shift the date by a couple of weeks to allow the time needed.'

- The Space Dandy Season 2 Collector's Editions have been delayed to August 24, 'due to a delay in approvals.' Both the Blu-ray and DVD Collector's Editions will hold the discs in an amaray case, with sleeve art 'in the same line art style design as seen with Season 1.' The Collector's Editions will also include a 148-page art book and 20 art cards 'showcasing art in the original Japanese release.'

- The Space Dandy Complete DVD set will also be released on August 24.

- Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya will be released on September 28.

- The 009 Re:Cyborg Collector's Edition will be released in August, exact date TBC.

- Fusé: Memoirs of a Huntress will be released 'later this year, likely in Q4' (subtitled-only).

- Psychic School Wars is planned for this year, currently with a placeholder date of December 7. 'There have been a few hold-ups with the production of the English langauge dub, but we're hoping to have a new date locked in soon.'

- Re the Full Metal Panic! Ultimate Edition Blu-ray; "We're still finalising details... but the plan is for it to be released later this year and it will include all three seasons (Full Metal Panic!, Fumoffu and The Second Raid.)'

- The releases of Samurai Flamenco and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo are planned before the end of 2015.

- Re Durarara!! x2 and Aldnoah.Zero, 'We're aiming for early 2016 but we should have more concrete information soon.'
