1st Kizumonogatari Film's New Ad Commemorates Film's Opening in Japan

Aniplex began streaming a new commercial for the Kizumonogatari I: Tekketsu-hen (Blood and Iron) anime film to commemorate the film's opening in Japanese theaters on Friday. The film is listed with a runtime of 60 minutes.
Aniplex of America will release the first film in theaters in the United States on February 26 under the title Kizumonogatari Part 1: Tekketsu.
The film project is a trilogy, and the second film Kizumonogatari II: Nekketsu-hen (Passionate Blood) is slated for summer 2016.
The official website for the film trilogy also revealed a key visual for the second film on Friday, and revealed that the third film will be titled Kizumonogatari III: Reiketsu-hen (Cold-Blooded).
Akiyuki Simbo is once again credited as chief director at the anime studio SHAFT. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka are designing the characters. Yota Tsuruoka is directing the sound, and Satoru Kousaki is composing the music. Tatsuya Oishi is the director.
Kizumonogatari is the third volume in NisiOisin's Monogatari book series and is a prequel to Bakemonogatari. The novel tells the story of how protagonist Koyomi encounters the female vampire that would turn him and his journey to return to his normal life. North American publisher Vertical released the novel in English in December.
