Elex Media Licenses Runaway Summer Boy Manga

Indonesian publisher Elex Media Komputindo revealed on Friday that it has licensed Nao Hinachi's Runaway Summer Boy (Iede Shōnen to Natsu no Yoru) one-shot manga collection. The company will publish the book in mid-July.
The manga collects five one-shot manga that Hinachi published in Shogakukan's Betsucomi magazine in 2014. Apart from the title story, the book also includes the manga "Sloppy Love Story" (Bukiccho-san no Koi no Hanashi), "Love Letter for the 25th" (25-Nichi e no Love Letter), "My Great Trick to Catch You" (Jōzu na Kami no Tsukamaekata), and "Sparkling World" (Kirakira no Sekai). The title story centers on Kanata, a mysterious boy who ran away from home during summer to go to a countryside town so small that everyone knows each other. He ends up staying over at the house of a girl named Tae over the summer vacation. Kanata is crude but kind, and Tae begins to develop feelings for him. But soon, summer vacation will be over.
Hinachi and Shogakukan published the manga collection in May 2014.
Elex Media previously published Hinachi's The Handsome Helmet Guy (Metto-kun wa Ikemen Desu) manga in 2014.
