PlayStation Awards 2017 Winners Announced

Final Fantasy XV, Dragon Quest XI, Yakuza 6, Resident Evil 7, Nioh, NieR:Automata, Persona 5, Ys VIII among winners
Sony Computer Entertainment Japan Asia (SCEJA) hosted and live-streamed the PlayStation Awards 2017 in Japan on Thursday. The annual award ceremony has been held since 1995.
The winners are as follows:
Double Platinum Prize
This prize was awarded to games that have shipped more than 2 million units (including downloads) in Asia.- Minecraft (PS4/Vita/PS3)
Platinum Prize
This prize was awarded to games that have shipped more than 1 million units (including downloads) in Asia.- Grand Theft Auto V (PS4)
- Final Fantasy XV (PS4)
- Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age (PS4)
Gold Prize
This prize was awarded to games that have shipped more than 500,000 units (including downloads) in Asia.- Uncharted Collection (PS4)
- Rainbow Six Siege (PS4)

- Call of Duty Infinite Warfare (PS4)

Three games that have contributed to sales of the PlayStation VR, released between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017.- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

Indie Games & Game Developers Award
Three games that have contributed to the expansion of PlayStation's indie or digital-exclusive catalog, released between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017.- Fushigi no Gensokyo TOD Reloaded (PS4/Vita)
- 3on3 FreeStyle (PS4)
- UNDERTALE (PS4/Vita)
User's Choice Award
This prize was awarded to games based on votes from users in Asia. To be eligible, a game must have debuted between October 1, 2016 and September 30, 2017.- Battlefield 1 (PS4)
