Akuma no Memumemu-chan Manga Gets Anime Shorts, Smartphone Game

The wraparound jacket band on the fourth compiled volume of Keitarō Yotsuya's Akuma no Memumemu-chan manga is announcing on Monday that the manga is getting a series of anime shorts as well as a smartphone game.
Seiya Numata (White Album 2, episode director for Scrapped Princess, Sket Dance) is directing the anime at studio SHAFT, and Rina Iwamoto (key animator for Chaos;Child, Terraformars) is the character designer. The anime will star:
- Karin Takahashi as Memumemu-chan
- Aoi Yūki as Hyōta
- Hitomi Igarashi as Anzu Itsuki
- Mai Nakahara as Landlord
Yotsuya launched the manga on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ website and app in July 2016. The "only slightly erotic comedy" manga centers on the titular Memumemu-chan, a succubus who isn't lewd, isn't erotic, and doesn't try hard. The manga follows her struggle to harvest souls.
The smartphone game will follow Memumemu-chan as she comes of age.
