Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments Anime's 2nd Promo Video Previews Opening Theme

Anly performs ending theme for series premiering on January 6

The official website for the Seven Deadly Sins anime franchise began streaming the second promotional video on Sunday for the new season, The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments (Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu). (Note: The above linked video is region-locked to Japan.) The video previews FLOW and GRANRODEO's collaboration opening theme song "Howling." The video also reveals that Anly (Naruto Shippūden) will perform the show's ending theme song "Beautiful."

The series will premiere at 6:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 6 on MBS, TBS, and other network affiliates throughout Japan.

The Nanatsu no Taizai Gaiden: Bandit Ban original anime DVD will additionally air on MBS and TBS on December 23. The OVA originally shipped in June 2015 with the manga's 15th compiled volume. The anime focused on the past of Ban and Elaine.

The new season's returning cast includes:

  • Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ban

  • Hiroki Touchi as Estarossa
  • Hiroshi Iwasaki as Galand
  • M.A.O as Melascula
  • Daisuke Ono as Drole
  • Yūsuke Kobayashi as Gloxinia
  • Kenjiro Tsuda as Monspeet
  • Ayahi Takagaki as Derieri
  • Koji Yusa as Grayroad
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Fraudrin

The show's staff includes:
