On Monday September 3, MVM will release a Blu-ray/DVD edition of Sword Oratoria: Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? On the Side. Sentai Filmworks described the story:
Ais Wallenstein's life changed forever on the fateful day she met Bell Cranel, but while Bell's story launched him into his future, her story sends her deeper into her past. Within the dungeon's treacherous depths, Ais and the other members of the Loki Familia encounter an irregularity that could threaten not just their party, but their entire world.
Youhei Suzuki (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat., Urara Meirochō) served as the show's new director at J.C. Staff. Writer Hideki Shirane, character designer Shigeki Kimoto, and composer Keiji Inai returned from the original anime. Iguchi returned to perform the anime's opening theme song, and Kano performed the ending theme song "day by day."
