Touhou Ibarakasen: Wild and Horned Hermit Manga Ends

The 55th issue of Ichijinsha's Febri magazine published the final chapter on June 14 of Aya Azuma's Touhou Ibarakasen: Wild and Horned Hermit manga based on ZUN and Team Shanghai Alice's Touhou Project franchise.
The manga centers on Kasen Ibara, a hermit who has an odd and mysterious connection to other characters in Gensōkyō, such as Reimu, Marisa, and Sanae.
Azuma launched the manga in Febri's inaugural issue in July 2010. Azuma began publishing the manga irregularly in 2012. Ichijinsha published the manga's ninth compiled volume in July 2018. The manga has more than 1 million copies in print.
Team Shanghai Alice released the first game in the series, Touhou: Highly Responsive to Prayers, in 1995 on the PC-98 platform. Since then, the series has spawned other main games, multiple spin-offs, and many fan-made derivative works based on characters and stories from the series.
The 17th and most recent main game in the series, Touhou Kikeijū: Wily Beast and Weakest Creature, will launch on Steam on September 10.
