Yoshiyuki Nishi's Lycanthrope Bōken Hoken Manga Resumes

posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Series about insurance company in fantasy world launched in 2016

Yoshiyuki Nishi's Lycanthrope Bōken Hoken (Lycanthrope Adventure Insurance) manga resumed with the 39th chapter on Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump website on Thursday. To mark the manga's return, all chapters of the series are available to read for free until July 31.

The manga's 38th chapter debuted in April 2018.

The manga is set in a fantasy world of swords and magic, and centers on the titular Lycanthrope Adventure Insurance company. The company provides insurance and support to adventurers taking on the risk of going on a journey and finding a path through the darkness.

Nishi launched the manga in Shueisha's Young Jump in October 2016. The series moved from Young Jump to Tonari no Young Jump in September 2017. Shueisha published the manga's third compiled book volume in March 2018.

Viz Media licensed Nishi's Muhyo & Roji's Bureau of Supernatural Investigation manga in North America, and it released all 18 volumes. Nishi launched the Mamono Kanteishi Babiro (Monster Appraiser Babiro) in Shueisha's Jump Next!! magazine in July 2014, but serialized it for less than a year.
