4th volume on October 9 will be last volume with print version

Manga creator Kenshiro Sakamoto revealed on his Twitter account on Wednesday that the fourth volume of his Fairy Tail: Happy no Daibōken spinoff manga will be the last volume in print, with subsequent volumes only having digital versions. The manga's serialization will continue.

Kodansha will ship the fourth volume on October 9. The fourth volume will have the end of the manga's "first part."

The spinoff manga for Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail follows the character Happy as he is separated from Natsu and finds himself in a world populated by animals.

Sakamoto launched the manga on Kodansha's Magazine Pocket manga app in July 2018. Kodansha published the manga's third volume on April 17.

Mashima's Fairy Tail manga series follows the adventures of world's most notorious mage guild, Fairy Tail. The manga launched in 2006 and ended in July 2017.

Mashima launched his Edens Zero manga in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in June 2018. North American publisher Kodansha Comics is releasing the series simultaneously digitally. The fourth English volume shipped in print on September 10.

Mashima will launch a new manga mini-series titled Heros in Kodansha's Weekly Shōnen Magazine in October. The mini-series will be a crossover between the worlds of Mashima's Rave Master, Fairy Tail, and Edens Zero manga.
