Sheffield Loves Anime Next Weekend Includes Three Eureka Seven Hi-Evolution Films
posted on by Andrew Osmond
The Sheffield Loves Anime festival, which runs at the SHOWROOM cinema from Friday November 19 to Sunday November 21, will include screenings of the three Eureka Seven: Hi - Evolution films released from 2017 to 2021. The first two films will be shown on the Saturday afternoon, and the third film (pictured right) will be shown on Sunday evening.
The three Hi-Evolution films rework the original Eureka Seven TV series from 2005, but the second and third films extend the story into new realities and make radical transformations to the characters. The first film was released in 2017, the second in 2018 and the third in 2021. (They should not be confused with an earlier film, Eureka Seven - good night, sleep tight, young lovers, released in 2009, which depicted another reality for the Eureka Seven characters.)
All the films are subtitled, and festival passes are available here.
