Crunchyroll Announces Hindi, Tamil Dubs for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2, Frieren, 2 More Anime

Crunchyroll began streaming the Hindi and Tamil dubs for the second season of the Jujutsu Kaisen anime in India on Thursday. The company also announced that it will stream the following anime in India as they air in Japan:
- The television anime of Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe's Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (Sōsō no Frieren) manga will stream on September 29.
- The television anime of Katarina's Shangri-La Frontier web novel will stream on October 1.
- The anime adaptation of Natsu Hyūga and Touko Shino's The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto) light novel series will stream on October 21.
Crunchyroll will stream Hindi dubs of all three anime titles at a later date. It will also stream Tamil dubs for Frieren: Beyond Journey's End and Shangri-La Frontier.
The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen premiered on July 6 on MBS and TBS and 28 affiliated channels. Netflix is streaming the anime season in India as it airs in Japan. Crunchyroll is also streaming the anime in India as it airs in Japan. The Hindi dub cast for the first season of the anime includes:
- Vidit Kumar as Yuji Itadori
- Sahil Kulkarni as Megumi Fushiguro
- Suvela Sharma as Nobara Kugisaki
- Lohit Sharma as Satoru Gojo
- Archit Maurya as Ryomen Sukuna
The Tamil dub cast includes:
- Roshan Nesapriyan as Yuji Itadori
- Arvind Rathinavel as Megumi Fushiguro
- Akshya Prabu as Nobara Kugisaki
- Rithick Ellaiyaraja as Satoru Gojo
- Praveen Kesavan as Ryomen Sukuna
Shōta Goshozono (Jujutsu Kaisen episode 8, 17 director) is replacing Sunghoo Park as the second season's director. The new cast members include Anna Nagase as Riko Amanai, and Takehito Koyasu as Toji Fushiguro.
The Jujutsu Kaisen television anime premiered in October 2020, and it had 24 episodes. Netflix is streaming the season in India. Ani-One began streaming all episodes of the season in India on June 29.
The Jujutsu Kaisen 0 anime film opened in Japan in December 2021 and opened in India in June 2022. It crossed ₹5.4 crore (approximately US$681,629) in earnings in its first weekend. Amazon Prime Video added the anime film in India in December and Crunchyroll added it in India in February.
Gege Akutami launched the manga in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2018. Viz Media is publishing the manga digitally and in print, and Shueisha is also publishing the manga digitally on its MANGA Plus service.
