New Anime Festival to hit Torrance California this May

LOS ANGELES, CA - March 13th, 2018 - Southern California anime enthusiasts, cosplayers, and Japanese festival fans can look forward to a brand new event on May 5th at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center in the South Bay.

AniFest 2018 lists that their event will have, “...everything a typical anime convention has, except in a festival format: outdoors with live music and entertainment throughout the venue.”

The event was founded by two organizations: TitanCon and Anime Convention Fans. TitanCon is known for their successful event at Cal State Fullerton, and Anime Convention Fans: A 3,000 member group of anime enthusiasts based in Southern California.

One of the main attractions of AniFest 2018 is their access to a 6,000 sqft Japanese garden, which makes a fantastic environment for cosplayers, photographers, and industry members looking to relax or create content.

Other attractions include two rows of artist vendors, a 4,500 sqft vendor hall, traditional and neo-fusion food vendors, two entertainment stages, AniFest maid cafe sponsored by Arcane Maid Cafe, special guests, and sponsored prizes.

AniFest is yet to release their major guests and sponsors, but their website is constantly updated with new vendors and information.

The event is a one day event from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM on May 5th, 2018. The event is held at the Torrance Cultural Arts Center at 3341 Torrance Blvd, Torrance, CA 90503.
