Renta! Announces Online Live Event with Tomo Kurahashi
TOKYO, JAPAN –May 14, 2020 – The multiplatform ebook rental site Renta! (https://www.ebookrenta.com) is happy to announce an international online live event featuring artist/author Tomo Kurahashi ("Someday I'll Fall for You," "Let's Be a Family!!") on Saturday, June 5, 2021 (JST). This inaugural online event will be held as part of Renta!'s efforts to bridge the gap between yaoi fans in Japan and abroad.
The online event will include a live drawing stream with Tomo Kurahashi and a Q&A segment with fan-submitted questions. In addition, all fans who participate in the event will receive a special event-exlusive digital booklet with limited-edition drawings.
NOTE: The event will include the chance to pre-purchase the Japanese language release of Tomo Kurahashi's latest work. The English version of this work will be released at a later date. An interpreter will be present during the live stream.
There is currently no maximum amount of fans allowed to participate. However, if demand exceeds event capacity, participants may be chosen randomly by lottery. Questions deemed to be inappropriate may also result in disqualification from participation.
Applications for this event will be accepted from 5/14 to 5/25 (JST). The results will be announced on 5/28 at 5:00 PM JST.
