Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis Collaborates with Uncle From Another World
Tokyo, August 9, 2023 – SEGA today announced the free-to-play online action RPG, PHANTASY STAR ONLINE 2 NEW GENESIS, is collaborating with Uncle From Another World, a unique and new isekai (alternate dimension) comedy anime based on the comic by Hotondoshindeiru that has sold over 3.3 million copies. Beginning today, players can find Avatar items, Weapon Camo, Emotes, and items for Creative Space such as Build Parts, Stamps, and Portable Holograms in-game as well as receive login bonuses.
In this collaboration with Uncle From Another World, PSO2: NGS will be hosting collaboration scratches, limited-time login bonuses, and campaigns. Login bonuses feature build parts inspired by Uncle From Another World and Sega game console evolution devices (Mags). Additionally, during the campaign period, there will be a beginner support campaign targeting certain Battledia Yellow.
The new AC Scratch "Uncle From Another World Style" offers a lineup of avatar items that allow players to become the "Uncle," "Elf," or "Mabel," as well as collab items such as weapon camos. To commemorate the collaboration, nostalgic Sega hardware such as the Mega Drive and Sega Saturn will appear as build parts and holograms.
