This got me into the whole romantic comedy side of anime. I adore Belldandy. Male character is a bit of a wimp, but the goddesses make up for it. |

Great Great Great Romantic comedy. Aoi-chan is the perfect woman. A real classic beauty. The story progresses with some decency which makes it nice. The humor is good as well. |

Not really an anime. More like an extremely well done CGI movie. Washes out the bad taste I got from watching "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within." |

I find most Shojo a little too girly for my taste, but if I'm going to watch one then this is it. I love the lead female's personality and temperament. The male characters also kept me intrigued with their antics. |

Most people think this movie is extremely sad, and that its anti-american. While, yes, its overall tone was definetely somber at best, I couldn't help but feel disdain for the lead. I mean there were so many things he could have done to help him and his sister's condition that its not even funny. I pity them more than anything. |

| (The) Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (TV) |
A very controversial series. Many people praise this as the best thing to ever happen to anime. I myself do not like it. On its good points, the animation is top of the line. Really good stuff. But on the downside, the anime episodes are not in chronological order (WTF?). The story is confusing enough and they just go out of their way to make your head spin. At the end of it all, the series has no ending at all really. Just makes you want to sit in a corner and suck your thumb as you cry. You'll have to watch it and judge for yourself. |

Never a big fan of Mobile Suit anime. A friend worked hard to change my mind and get me to buy this one. Glad I did, because its really good. I love an anime with an excepitonal story. Can't wait to view the second season. |

Different concept. A physicological thriller type anime. Never really watched an anime like this before. Really good in keeping me hooked. Every episode ended with something leaving you hanging. A little long, but still good. |

Like Mai-Otome, a stellar series. Creates a real somber tone as the series progresses but wraps it up real nice in the end. |

Stellar series. Made it into the top ten. They managed to recycle My-Hime characters and still create something new and exciting. I could see them making a second season and me enjoying it. |

This is the series that got me started seriously watching anime. In retrospect there are a lot of series out there that are better than this one, but it will always have a special place in my heart non the less. Ending is just weird. |

Amazing fighting even though its old. Classic movie like Akira and Ghost in the Shell. A little graphic for my tastes at times. Still good though. I don't have "Resurection" listed here, but I have seen it and its absolutely horendous. God awful. |

Great movie. They really did a great job animating this. The story is original and epic. I enjoy the english dubbing on this coincidentally. Benchmark for what an animated movie should be. |

A disapointment for me. I had high expectations. The animation is definetely old by todays standards; however, I'm willing to forget animation in favor of a good story. This has neither. Not for me anyways. |

Great Series. Trust and Betrayal are hard movies to follow, but this one comes close. The Kyoto Arc is just so incredible. Almost any fight in it could be in the anime hall of fame. The disapointment however comes toward the end of the series when the story line becomes extremely sub par. |

After a sub par ending of the Kenshin series, it was nice to see another great film emerge to give some closure on everything. The fight with Enishi on the beach tells me they could have done a lot more with the series if they had been patient. I'm always a little sad when I watch this because I get the feeling that Kenshin has wasted his life. Oh well, guess I'm just waxing philosophical |

Ah, the crowning achievement in animated movies. Technically, I suppose its an OAV miniseries, but in my mind I've always considered it a movie. The dialogue is so in depth that it makes one consider a great many personal moral beliefs. The animation is marvelous to behold. The story comes to an almost enevitable conclusion that is quite somber, but also realistic. Instead of closure, it forces you to empathize with the main character who must now live out his life with the stigma of his past choices. |

Engaging and entertaining. Kazuma's never say die attitude is really addicting to watch. And super powers are just so cool! Neat concept. They bring the story around nicely as well. |

One of the better samurai series to come out in recent years. The blend of hip hop themes and exceptional fighting sequences definetely make this anime unique. The fighting is incredible particuarly towards the end. I really liked it. |

Okay, so the story here is a little... WTF?! But Kyo's attitude is what makes this series for me. He's good and cocky and totally awesome. He certainly knows what he wants out of life. Who cares if you don't know what exactly is going on half the time, Kyo is fun to watch. |

Maybe the best romantic comedy of all time. Light hearted feel to it. The initial love triangle soon turns into a love gartezuhegon (or something). Nothing really serious goes on and its all very funny. One of my favorit series. |

Didn't do anything for me really. Kind of had to force myself to watch it. Animation is old, and the story is boring. You'd expect good fighting from the greatest 2D fighting game of all time. You'd be wrong. |

Vash is the man. When I first saw this many years ago, I just didn't get the humor. Now, having watched enough anime to know better, I roll on the floor when I watch this. I always thought Vash was a bit of a cry baby with some of his personal "no killing" issues, but whatever. He's still cool and the story is still awesome. I think the manga would be better though because they seem to leave a lot out. |

Very good vampire movie. Animation is a little old, but its interesting enough that it doesn't really matter. You kind of have to fill in some of the story element gaps as you go along, but it shouldn't be much of a problem for a good imagination. |

Interesting paranormal concepts. Using witches to hunt witches and so on. A little slow at first, but I thought it progressed okay towards the end. Left you looking for some explanations, but still worth the watch. |

How does CLAMP, who does something like Chobits and Tsubasa Chronicles do something like this? I'm just not sure. However, I happen to like X quite a bit. It may be slow for a lot of people, but it really tries to build itself to Epic proportions. I've not seen the movie, but I would like to though. |
