No mention of the major animation upgrades to the first two episodes?

Ah I see (and assumed) that any animation errors/mistakes will be fixed on the home video release.

They'll pretty much have to keep doing it if they want anyone to buy the damn thing. Can't wait to see how much improved Rei will be in episode 3, but at least we'll always have memories of that travesty.

So I guess they did have animation fixes and touch-ups. Considering how animation productions are run, it is nice they are making the necessary fixes for the BD's.

With the touch-ups, maybe people can finally stop bitching about the art being off model now and then.

It was off model a lot more than just 'now and then' in episodes 2~4, but they really came through on episode 5. Again though this is coming from someone who watches each episode 2-3 times when it comes out (friends wanting to watch it). Seeing these blu ray fixes though wow, what a difference! I'll definitely buy them once Viz releases them here.

Before I was just concerned they wouldn't change much... but I'm happy with the changes. I've seen Madoka TV > Madoka Blu Rays > Madoka movies and the difference each time is really noticeable, I"m glad Sailor Moon's a good treatment too.

These changes are amazing. I couldnt really stand the art in the first episode so I dropped it but their faces look so much less...winx club fake like.

Well, to be fair, one could argue that that's a point of contention with many fans. Some believe that it reflects poorly of the animation studio - such as the inability get it right the first time and the possibility of it being a deliberate attempt to drive up sales of the home release.

Pfft. And Studio Wit did the same to Attack on Titan?

That is why I put the series on hold after third episode until all BDs are out...

It will take about a year, but at least I won't have to wait two weeks between unfinished web episodes.
