Level 5, Netmarble's Yo-Kai Watch Medal Wars Smartphone Game Launches in Japan in July

The Twitter account for Level 5 and Netmarble's Yo-kai Watch Medal Wars smartphone game revealed on Thursday that the game will launch in Japan in mid-July.
The "Yo-kai battle role-playing game" will feature an original story, and will be free to play with in-game purchases. The game's story revolves around the "Ōja Medal." Players will be able to customize their own avatars to play as the game's protagonist, and will be able to train Yo-kai. In addition, the game will feature player battles, augmented reality functionality, and a picture mode where players can take pictures and share them with friends.
Netmarble's subsidiary Netmarble Monsters is developing the game.
