Kite Sequel to Ship Nearly Simultaneously in Japan, U.S.

Kite: Liberator DVD to ship in America four days after Japan
Yasuomi Umetsu, the creator and director of the Kite action franchise, has reported on the Kite: Liberator website's staff column on Wednesday that he is writing the plot for the sequel to Kite: Liberator. Kite: Liberator itself is a loose follow-up with science-fiction elements to the Kite video anime. Media Blasters released the first Kite anime in North America, and it shipped the first Kite: Liberator anime in North America in the same week it shipped in Japan in March.
