Bandai Entertainment Reveals Honneamise Lineup (Updated)

The North American anime distributor Bandai Entertainment has updated retailers on Honneamise, the label that it is inheriting from Bandai Visual USA, as these two subsidiaries of Bandai Namco Holdings begin combining their assets on July 1. As of Tuesday, the new Honneamise lineup includes most of the DVDs, Blu-ray Discs, and HD DVD/DVD Twin Discs that had been released by Bandai Visual USA before May, at the same suggested retail prices that Bandai Visual USA had listed. The first two Patlabor movies and the first Aim for the Top! Gunbuster original video anime series are notably missing from the current lineup. Also unlisted are the titles that Bandai Visual USA had previously announced, but later delayed indefinitely: Engage Planet Kiss Dum, Shigofumi, sola, and True Tears. However, Bandai Entertainment told retailers that the label is just starting, with "more announcements following in the months to come."
