Japanese, English Light Novels Posted Online

Visual Art's, the publisher behind the Kanon, Air, and Clannad visual novel/anime/manga franchises, has posted a 57-page sample (in Japanese) of the Meitantei Shikaku na Kanojo light novel by author Tsukasa Fushimi and illustrator Elan Hasumi. The full-length print version of the book will ship on October 28 to launch "issue," Visual Art's new light novel imprint.
The Karui Shosetsu (literally, Japanese for "light novel") Magazine is planning to launch online this week with free English-language light novels from outside Japan. The effort will reportedly have 11 stories by 11 authors with illustrations.
