posted on by Egan Loo
The official website for the Dance with Devils television anime began streaming a new promotional video on Friday. The website and video reveal one of the musical numbers that will be integral to the series from game developer Rejet, music production studio Elements Garden, and music production company Avex. The video also previews the opening theme song "Kakusei no Air" (Air of Awakening) by Wataru Hatano, who plays Lind Tachibana in the Fall anime.
The website and video reveal that lead voice actress Himika Akaneya will play the heroine, the 16-year-old second-year high school student Ritsuka Tachibana. She is an utterly ordinary girl who lives with her mother. Akaneya lends her voice for the musical number in the video above.
Pentacle★, a unit composed of the main voice actors Sōma Saitō, Hatano, Takashi Kondō, Subaru Kimura, and Daisuke Hirakawa, is performing the ending theme song "Mademo★iselle." The five main voice actors will also appear at a special "Try Out" event with a preview screening of the first episode in Saitama on September 6.
The story revolves around Ritsuka Tachibana, a female second-year high school student who attends Shiko Academy in Shiko Town. She enjoyed her school life while living with her mother Maria, but one day, that balance fell into ruin. The anime is a story of Rikka being loved and being attracted to demons.
The voice cast includes:
Ai Yoshimura (My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU, Blue Spring Ride) is directing the anime at Brains Base (Natsume's Book of Friends, One Week Friends). Tomoko Konparu (Uta no Prince-sama - Maji Love 1000%,Blue Spring Ride) is in charge of the series scripts based on the original concept by Reject's Daisuke Iwasaki and the original story by Grimoire Henshūshitsu. Elements Garden is composing the music, and Elements Garden's Junpei Fujita and DIVE II Entertainment are producing the music. Rejet's Hirotaka Maeda provided the original character designs, and Yuka Takashina is adapting those designs for the anime.
