SNK Fighting Games Feature in Romantic Comedy Manga

Manga commemorates SNK's 40th anniversary
Kadokawa's web manga site Young Ace Up launched a new romantic comedy manga titled Lever Gacha Archive in collaboration with SNK on Tuesday. Masaru Kaneko is drawing the manga based on Chōnosuke Kujiradake's story.
The manga is part of SNK's 40th anniversary commemoration. It features games such as Fatal Fury, Art of Fighting, The King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown/Samurai Spirits, and Metal Slug.
The story is set in the 1990s, and follows an ordinary middle school boy named Yasutaka Etō, who plays games and is bad with girls. One day his female classmate Kaori Kashiwame consults him out of the blue about Neo Geo and SNK games because, as it turns out, the person she has an unrequited crush on is a fan.
