Ushicon in Texas Hosts Princess Tutu, Magic User's Club Staff

Ikuko Ito, Junichi Sato, Yasuno Satō to attend February convention for adults

Texas convention Ushicon announced on October 22 that it will host Junichi Satō, Ikuko Ito, and Yasuno Satō as guests.

Junichi Satō is a prolific director who is perhaps best known as the director of the original Sailor Moon anime series, the various Aria anime, and Princess Tutu. He also directed Magic User's Club!, Gate Keepers, Kaleido Star, Tamayura, Amanchu!, and Hugtto! Precure, the most recent Precure series.

Ito is credited as the original creator and character designer for the Princess Tutu anime. She has also provided character designs for Sailor Moon Super S, Magic User's Club!, Living for the Day After Tomorrow, and The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-chan, and has served as animation director on the same series, as well as AKB0048, Popin Q, and Gekijō-ban Macross Delta: Gekijō no Walkūre.

Yasuno Satō is credited for music selection on such shows as Princess Tutu, the first three Aria anime, Magic User's Club!, and Prétear. She also served as the music director for the Tamayura anime, Blood Blockade Battlefront, and Amanchu!. Junichi Satō and Yasuno Satō are husband and wife.

The convention will take place in Round Rock, Texas on February 15 to 17. The convention is open to adults age 18 and older.
