Titan Comics to Release Eldo Yoshimizu's Ryuko Manga

posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
1st of 2 total volumes of series about female yakuza member launches in July

Titan Comics announced last week that it will release Eldo Yoshimizu's Ryuko manga as part of its Hard Case Crime line. The title will be the first Japanese title in the comics line. The company will release the first of two volumes in the United States on July 9 and in the United Kingdom on July 11.

Amazon describes the series:

Ryuko is a hard-hitting, motorcycle-riding, high ranking member of the Japanese mafia stationed in the Middle-East. After a fierce battle with the government, she becomes embroiled with the Chinese and an unknown terrorist organisation. Everyone has their own agenda, but it becomes personal for Ryuko when her mother is kidnapped and she was forced to kill her father. What is the right thing to do in this morally complicated situation?

Ryuko has a choice to make, but it's tough when good and evil appear to be two sides of the same coin...

Titan Comics has also released Jay's Sherlock manga, Takashi Yano and Kendi Oiwa's Assassins Creed Awakenings (Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag -Kakusei-) manga, and Junko Mizuno's Ravina the Witch manga.
