On Monday May 6, MVM will release a DVD edition of the 26-part series Maid Sama!. The anime adapts Hiro Fujiwara's manga Kaichō wa Maid-sama! about a high school student council president who secretly works at a maid cafe. MVM's Anime-on-line website describes the series as follows:

"Misaki Ayuzawa has enough problems being the first female student council president of the formerly all-male Seika High School. When cool, aloof and oh-so-handsome Usui Takumi discovers that she's also a waitress at a local maid cafe by night, things get very interesting, very quickly! Toss in an organized crime cartel, a handful of extremely annoying transfer students, and the inevitable trip to the hot springs and everyone is bound to end up in hot water one way or another. But Misaki isn't going to let any of that stop her from maintaining order in the classroom and taking orders in the tea room."

MVM will also release the film Fate/stay night: Heaven's Feel I. presage flower as a Collectors Edition Blu-ray. (A DVD edition was released last week.) The Collectors Edition will contain a 32-page animation artbook and a 52-page artbook housed in a slipcase.

Aniplex of America described the story of the film:

“IF I BECAME A BAD PERSON, WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO FORGIVE ME?”

The boy wished to protect the girl. That was his thought. 10 years after the Holy Grail War—a battle waged by Masters and Servants over the wish-granting container, the Holy Grail—another war breaks out in Fuyuki City. Shirou Emiya—the adopted son of Kiritsugu Emiya, a participant of the previous Holy Grail War—resolves to fight, carrying out Kiritsugu's dying wish.

There's a young girl by Shirou's side who's in love with him—Sakura Matou.Every morning, she goes to Shirou's house to make breakfast and dinner for him, bringing kindness into the life of a boy utterly alone in the world. But once the Holy Grail War starts, there's a change in the air in Fuyuki City. Murders abound across the city, and the atmosphere grows ominous. Shirou decides to shelter Sakura in his home.

Along with Saber, the Servant he summons, Shirou allies himself with the magus Rin Tohsaka and takes part in the Holy Grail War. But the battle starts to go awry as secret maneuvers by unseen forces are put into play.

"Heaven's Feel" is a route from the original Fate/stay night visual novel. Tomonori Sudō (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Zero animation director) directed the films, and ufotable animated the work. Yuki Kajiura (Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, Fate/Zero) composed the music. Takahiro Miura provided the storyboards. Aimer performed the film's theme song.

Arrow Video is releasing a Blu-ray edition of the 1987 film In the Aftermath. The release features a 2K restoration. In the Aftermath spliced footage from the 1985 anime film Angel's Egg, directed by Mamoru Oshii (Ghost in the Shell), with new American live-action footage. Arrow Films describes the story:

[...] Roger Corman protégé Carl Colpaert (The Crew) made his directorial debut by combining repurposed excerpts from a foreign film – in this case, Mamoru Oshii's (Ghost in the Shell) spellbinding 1985 anime Angel's Egg – with new live action footage shot in America. The result is In The Aftermath, a haunting post-apocalyptic vision like no other.

In a radiation-soaked wasteland, two surviving soldiers, Frank and Goose, search for essential supplies amid the rubble. After a violent confrontation, Frank is haunted by visions of an angelic young girl holding a giant egg, herself a refugee from another world altogether. Could the egg be the key to saving both their worlds?
