Hikaru Utada's 'Science Fiction' Tour Heads to Taipei on August 10-11

Singer Hikaru Utada announced on Friday that their "Science Fiction" tour to celebrate the release of their Science Fiction greatest hits album will travel to the Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan on August 10 and 11.

The concert tour is Utada's first tour in six years, and will begin with a concert in Fukuoka this weekend on April 13 and 14, followed by concerts in Aichi, Saitama, Miyagi, Tokyo, Osaka, and Kanagawa from July to September. The Science Fiction compilation album released on Wednesday.

Utada debuted with the single “Automatic/time will tell” released in December 1998. The album sold over two million copies. They have also performed the main theme song for the To Your Eternity anime series titled “PINK BLOOD” and the theme songs to the Kingdom Hearts RPG series by Square Enix. Utada also performed the theme songs for the Rebuild of Evangelion tetralogy of anime films.
