Sure, but G Gundam also had a full-on manga remake written by Yasuhiro Imagawa & drawn by Kazuhiko Shimamoto that ran from 2010 to 2016 across four parts & 26 volumes in total (take THAT Gundam Wing: Glory of the Losers & your "measely" 14 volumes!), so it's not as though G Gundam's been ignored.

Just a shame that said G Gundam manga remake got completely ignored outside of Japan.

Gundam is anime first and foremost.

Plus, tease was by Tomokazu Seki, lead seiyu of G Gundam.

I doubt they are so stupid to think fans would expect anything other than anime.

It's true that the tease came from Tomokazu Seki, but he also said he had no idea about it, was just hearing about it for the first time himself, and would be staying tuned to the website for more information, so it doesn't seem like it is a new anime project, unless it's one that doesn't include Domon's character

Could also be incredibly early, early in pre-pro. Wouldn't be the first time something like that happened.

I'm not expecting anything more than a OVA in regards to animation. Keep your expectations leveled.
