Nana Mizuki to Sing Yamato 2199 Compilation Film's Ending

The official websites for the Space Battleship Yamato 2199 anime project and singer Nana Mizuki announced on Sunday that she will return to the franchise to sing the ending theme song for the compilation film Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Tsuioku no Kōkai (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Voyage of Remembrance). Mizuki already sang the ending theme song "Ai no Hoshi" for the seventh and final installment in Yamato 2199's original theatrical run last year.
The compilation film will play in event screenings (similar to the earlier limited Yamato 2199 screenings) starting on October 11 with 5.1 surround sound. The brand-new film Uchū Senkan Yamato 2199: Hoshi-Meguru Hakobune (Space Battleship Yamato 2199: Star-Voyaging Ark) will then follow on December 6.
