Plot Summary: In 1958, while construction of the Tokyo Tower is being carried out, Mutsuko, a young girl boards a train to Tokyo where she has been accepted for work at Suzuki Auto. From the employer description on the job offer, she believes Suzuki Auto to be a large automobile company but in actual fact, it is a small car repair shop. In the time the misunderstanding is forgiven and she works with her employer to build Suzuki Auto into a bigger business and gets to know the various neighbours that live in the same area.
